Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship - How to Apply
Applications for our FPMRS Fellowship are accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). We accept one fellow per year. Fellows are accepted from Obstetrics & Gynecology and Urology backgrounds based on qualifications, including satisfactory completion of an ACGME-accredited Obstetrics & Gynecology or Urology residency program.

Application Deadline for consideration for first round of interview offers: 1/26/2026
Interview Notification: 2/17/2026 by 9pm ET. This includes interview and waitlist offers. You have until 2/19/2026 9pm ET to reply to the offer. No response to the invitation will be considered a decline.
Interview Dates: Friday, May 8, 2026 and Monday, May 11, 2026
In addition to completing the ERAS application, please forward the following information directly to Waleska Barreto:
- Updated curriculum vitae
- Copies of all CREOG or Urology in-service examination scores
Per AUGS recommendations, starting with the 2026 interview season, each applicant will be required to submit a total of three Letters of Recommendation. Two of the letters will be templated Standardized Letters of Evaluation (SLOE). One SLOE will be from a Urogynecologist and another from the Residency Program Director. If an applicant completed residency 2 or more years ago, this SLOE should be completed by their current Chair or Division Head. Please see AUGS website for more information. Additionally, please note that our program will participate in Program Signaling. Starting with the 2026 interview season, applicants may use signaling to express interests in a fellowship program. The total number of signals per applicant is ten (10). This new feature will allow applicants to express their interest while helping program directors identify candidates who are best suited and most enthusiastic about their program.
