Designed like your local grocery store, the Food4Health Clinic offers fresh fruit, vegetables and other healthy items for patients who have received a prescription from a Hartford Hospital physician. The staff will review your prescription with you and help you shop for the food your doctor has recommended.

There is no cost for the food you choose at the Food4Health Clinic.

Where is the Food4Health Clinic?

Brownstone Building

The Food4Health Clinic is located at 79 Retreat Avenue in Hartford, in the Brownstone Building behind the main hospital and next to the Cancer Center. The rooftop garden is on the roof of the Conklin Building.

Please park on the street or in the Retreat Avenue garage.

Enter through the main Brownstone Building entrance, and staff will guide you to the Food4Health Clinic.
